    From Your Principal

    Dear Gant Families,
Each year, the district provides schools with new materials to help support our school sites. This year, the focus is on cultivating a classroom atmosphere, where teachers deliberately balance caring relationships with high expectations and supports for student success and provide a foundation for a safe learning environment that values diversity, trust, and respectful communication.
We are so fortunate here at Gant, as this is something our teachers and support staff wholeheartedly believe in. Since coming to Gant, my focus has been on growth mindset, building relationships, and developing a strong sense of community. With these pieces in place, students will grow academically as well as socially. I look forward to another successful year here at Gant!

We’re grateful for all our teachers and staff at Gant. This year, we’re lucky enough to add Mrs. Goldberg. So, let’s all join Room 20 in welcoming our new first grade teacher. We are very glad to have her join our Gant family!

    Fall Carnival & Trunk-or-Treat

    Trunk or Treat Logo

Save the Date: Saturday October 27th will be Gant’s Annual Fall Carnival and Trunk-or-Treat! Not only is the event wonderful fun, it helps fund other programs throughout the year. The festivities begin at 5pm and will include trunk-or-treating, games, a haunted house, a silent auction, and more. None of this is possible without volunteers, and there are still many ways to help:

    • Donate your trunk, creativity, and time to make the Trunk-or-Treat spooktacularly fun. Cars are required on campus at 3:30pm and may not leave until 8:30pm. You only need to "man" your trunk from about 5pm to 6pm. Contact Erin Lipeles at if you'd like to sign up.

    • Donate treats for our Trunk-or-Treat! We are in need of large bags of candy to hand out to all of our awesome kiddos on the 27th. We also need toys (Barbies, Legos, Playdoh, balls, crafts, etc.) for the Mrs. K Toy Raffle game. A donation bin is located just outside the school office doorway.

    • Avoid lines. Pre-sale punch cards will be sold before and after school in PTA room the week prior to the Carnival 10/22-10/26.

Any questions about Fall Carnival, please contact Erin Lipeles at Trunk or Treat graphic by first grade parent Mark Michaylira.
