Cartoon boy reading

The Gant Library is a tremendous resource for our students.  Ms. Maria Leon works with teachers and students to provide instructional lessons related to the resources available and their classroom curricululm.  Our students visit the library regularly on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays with other opportunities for students to visit the library.  Additionally, our school staff, PTA, and other community groups use the library for various meetings.

More Diverse Books CoME to Gant

We are excited to support LBUSD efforts to diversify classroom libraries through the FAIR Act Book Collection and Rising Voices Library in all LBUSD TK-5 classrooms. Rising Voices titles aim to celebrate and uplift Black and Latino boys. The program is already underway at Gant -- please stay tuned and see what your teachers roll out! We will continue to advocate for more of these diverse books for our Gant classrooms and library in the future.
