A school nurse and/or health assistant is on site weekly to assist with evaluating and educating both students and parents on health needs. Health screenings are also completed in Grades 2 and 5.

Please be sure to is healthy and prepared for school each day.  Students must be fever free (without medication) for 24 hours prior to attending school.  Additionally, students who have vomited or with diarreaha must also be symptom free for 24 hours prior to attending school.

If your child requires medication to be administered while at school, we must have the proper paperwork completed prior to administering any medication.  We cannot administer over the counter medications nor allow students to have any medications in their possession during the school day.  This includes cough drops or throat lozenges.

For the safety of all of our students, those with medical restrictions due to injury or health, must also have a physician's note on file with the office.

Students with casts, crutches, splints or protective type "boots" must have a Dr. note prescribing the device and will be restricted from playground activities for the safety of all.
