PTA Business Hours are 8:00 - 9:00 am on Fridays in the PTA Room - Room 22.

 

PTA Board Members are available for PTA related questions each Friday.  Curious about how to get involved? Want to make a donation? Or just say 'Hi' ?  Come on by!

Lost and Found!

- Please mark all items brought to school (jackets, sweaters, lunch boxes, backpacks) with your child's first and last name so that they don’t end up on the red racks outside of the auditorium!
- All marked items will be returned to your child's classroom & the rest (not picked up) will be donated to charity at the end of each month.

Important Announcements!

School Uniforms & Assistance
Minnie Gant Elementary School continues to adhere to our uniform policy. Students must wear navy blue pants and red or white tops. Students may wear appropriate baseball caps or the Minnie Gant school hat during recess and lunch or on any outdoor school activities for sun/cancer protection.

School Uniforms for Sale

Uniform Sales will be held every Friday morning from 8am-9am in the PTA room.  Any questions, contact Jessica Reed at jessicareed1027@gmail.com.

Visitors on Campus
Please assist us in keeping all of our students safe.  We need ALL Visitors to come to the office prior to entering campus. This includes VIPS and PTA members conducting PTA business. Thank you for your cooperation.

Attendance
Attendance is critical to success.  Our school goal is to have our average daily attendance rate exceed 97%.  If every child is absent 4 days or less, we will exceed our goal.  Please assist your children in getting to school on time each and every day.

Students on Campus
Students are not allowed on campus prior to 7:30 am as there is no supervision.  Students who arrive at 7:30 must report directly to the cafeteria whether or not they intend to have breakfast.  Students arriving at 7:40 may report directly to the playground.

Additionally, all students must be picked up no later than 3:30 pm as supervision is only provided from dismissal until 3:30.  Thank you for your cooperation

MINNIE GANT FUNDRAISER
Minnie Gant PTA's FUN RUN is coming!

 

It’s time for our annual fundraiser and fun time!

The Gant PTA strives to support our school with resources such as a computer aide, physical education aides, and classroom enrichment for the nearly 600 children who attend Minnie Gant. We rely on and give thanks for donations from families, community stakeholders, and local businesses who volunteer, donate and fundraise. We couldn’t do it without you!


If you own or know a local business owner who might support us, be sure to check out the sponsorship levels and opportunities.

 

We are excited to streamline our Fun Run fundraiser by going online.

You will now be able to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter, along with going door-to-door to neighbors. Simply search and find your participant's online pledge page here: https://99pledges.com/fund/MinnieGant2018. You do not need to login or change anything. Simply share your participant's link with friends and family.

 

Donations are due by Wednesday, April 25th to count in the Grand Prizes (Individual Top Earner, Top 15 Earners, Classroom Grand Prizes and the 100% Participation Prize.)

Popsicle Time!


Popsicles will be sold Thursdays from 1:30-1:45 pm, starting September 14th.  All popsicles are 100% all natural and adhere to California state nutritional guidelines. Price is $1.00.
